physique show
i did a physique show.

it’s basically a beauty pageant where dudes in thongs pay hundreds of dollars to get painted like oompa loompas and dance on stage next to each other for 6 minutes at a time while other dudes who have taken the sport way too seriously for way too long compare the orange bodies on stage to what the ideal body should look like, such as The David or themselves, and decide who among the competitors starved themselves the hardest, the longest so they can give the winner a trophy, a bag of protein bars, and maybe a cash prize.
i had such a good time that i made plans to do another one.
it would have been yesterday.
but i didn’t compete.
why not?
when it came down to the point of no return, where i would have had to change my diet for those chiseled abZzZ, i decided my TEAR—time, energy, attention, and resources—were better spent on:
- writing a book
- building an audience
- starting a new job
- buying a house
- moving into that house
and then Coach Gillian dropped the gauntlet on me: the real challenge isn’t peaking once or twice a year. it’s maintaining a physique that’s always within striking distance.
that caught my attention.
so that’s my new goal: to be ready year-round. not just once. not just twice. always.
and document the process along the way, showing that i am in control of my aesthetic communication.
anthroponautics is for the body and the mind. the machine and its operator.
you need both to win.

p.s. i will be available for 1-1 sessions again starting the beginning of September.
in these sessions we will conduct a Dunbar Layer and Influence analysis and develop a campaign using my proprietary tools, answer your questions on advanced topics like Maxwell-Slade's Field Equations or Anthropic Singularities, run simulations using Colin’s Method, and debrief your field work.
if you're interested in meeting with me, you can reserve your spot on by replying "1-1" to this email.
