Maneuver Multiplier
If maneuver is the ability to shape the environment and dictate the rules of engagement, then AI is the ultimate multiplier. Unlike humans, AI doesn’t get tired, moody, or distracted by office politics. It doesn’t procrastinate, binge Netflix, get high, or show up to work hungover. It just processes data, models complexity, and makes decisions at ludicrous speed.
The result? Crisis and a paradigm shift.
Look around: social media algorithms already nudge human behavior. AI decides which posts go viral, whose voices are amplified, and how narratives take hold. That’s maneuver at scale—not through tanks or troops, but by steering attention.
AI analysts are already mapping your social network, flagging weak ties, and predicting who you will talk to, date, or vote for. It trades in stock markets, negotiates business deals, capitalizes on short sales, and determines mortgage rates all before we’ve had breakfast.
Language models (like the one writing this book) are already shaping discourse, accelerating knowledge, and rewiring how humans think.
And this is only the beginning.
As AI embeds itself into the OODA loops of individuals, companies, and governments, those who wield it will outmaneuver those who don’t. But here’s the rub: AI won’t just supercharge collaboration. It will redefine control, power structures, and the nature of influence.
For now, humans still hold the illusion of control. We build the models, set the objectives, and interpret the results. But this window is closing. AI is moving from being a tool inside networks to the autonomous architect of those networks.
Conflict and collaboration will no longer mean what they used to. The contest will shift from human versus human to human-AI hybrids versus fully autonomous systems, each racing to bring order to an increasingly chaotic world.
At this stage, who will be in control? Will AI be your ally or your adversary? And what happens when AI no longer needs human input to adapt?

p.s. the world is changing. fast. are you ready for it? i'm here to help. we'll analyze your Dunbar Layers, including where AI falls. we'll identify opportunities for maneuver as we develop your Campaign. we'll review Colin's Method, run simulations, conduct field work, and debrief for lessons learned. reply "i'm in" to get on the waitlist for my 1:1 sessions. i'll be available in September.
